After a number of very dry months on Great Keppel Island, where we have our small eco accommodation business, we have finally been blessed with a couple of showers, which has brought the island alive again! Walking up the ridge last night to the lookout, the dogwood bushes were bursting into yellow bloom and looked so pretty! The hundred miles of views – islands, bays and beaches that I could see over the ocean was also very pretty!
Great Barrier Reef accommodation at Svendsen’s Beach, Great Keppel Island – Wreck Beach exuberance! Wreck Beach is a 40 minute walk from our accommodation place – it has good snorkelling and is the place where I have found my best shells!
